SIG Summer Institute for the Gifted Three Week Academic Camp
Offers residential and day camps for gifted students grades 4-11 at various colleges and universities around the country.
Center for Talent Development Summer Program at Northwestern University
The Summer Program offers accelerated courses in mathematics, science and the humanities. All programs except Leapfrog meet for three weeks, five hours per day, with commuter and resident options available. The majority of CTD Summer Program students live on Northwestern University's Evanston campus.
Center for Talent Development Pre-College Summer Program at Case Western Reserve University
Spectrum and Equinox at CWRU, a joint program of Northwestern University's Center for Talent Development and Case Western Reserve University, is a three-week program of advanced study for students enrolled in Spectrum (7th-9th grades) and Equinox (10th-12th grades). Spectrum and Equinox offer an invigorating mix of challenging course work and social and cultural activities.

A residential summer enrichment program for 5 - 9 grade students
Ohio Summer Honors Institutes
The Ohio Summer Honors Institutes are academic summer programs for current 9th and 10th grade gifted students funded by the Ohio Department of Education. Summer Honors Institutes are hosted by Ohio colleges and universities. Tuition is free for eligible students. However, Summer Honors Institutes that offer a residential option may charge residential students a fee to cover the costs of breakfast, dinner, residence hall rooms, evening activities and overnight supervision.
Ohio Foreign Language Association Summer Camp
A foreign language camp experience for elementary students grades 4-6
Ohio Leadership Institute
Leadership Training Camp provides ideal training for student council members and other school leaders. There is an Elementary Camp for students entering grades 2-5 and a Middle School Camp for students entering grades 5-8.
Junior Medical Camp
The Cleveland Museum of Natural History and HealthSpace: Cleveland have joined forces to provide this camp experience for all those interested in what it takes to become a medical professional. Participants will find out during these week-long day camps that are as fun as they are informative. Explore career opportunities in health care. Conduct experiments in a state-of-the-art laboratory. Engage in thought-provoking discussions. Learn the latest in scientific developments. There are camps for grades 3 and up.
Shipwreck Camp
Inspired by the exploration of scientist and explorer, Dr. Robert Ballard, finder of the wreckage of the Titanic, this camp experience will engage campers ages 12-15 in field science and exploration. In collaboration with Cleveland Lakefront State Park (ODNR), the Cuyahoga County Library, and Case’s Center for Science and Mathematics Education.
Young Women's Summer Institute
Young Women’s Summer Institute (YWSI) is a week-long program sponsored by OSC (Ohio Supercomputer Center), Kent State University and Wittenberg University for 6th and 7th grade girls in Ohio. It is designed to promote computer, math, and science skills as well as provide hands-on experiences. YWSI helps girls develop an interest in these subjects by allowing them to work on a practical, interesting scientific problem using the latest computer technology.
BeWise Camp at Denison University
Be WISE is a mathematics, science and technology camp designed to develop interest, excitement, and self confidence in young women who are entering grades 7 and 8. This week long residential camp for 130 young women features a separate curriculum for each grade level emphasizing hand-on activities in math and science.
B-Wiser Science Camp at The College of Wooster
The B-Wiser Summer Camp is a hands-on science experience and is open to girls who have just completed the 7th grade. Laboratory work in earth science, life science, chemistry, physics and engineering will be included in the camp. Previous participants have been finalists in national and international competitions. Outstanding high school teachers instruct the students in classes of 15 with two instructors.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association Summer Camp
Located in beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center offers a unique mix of overnight summer camp programs for children entering grades 4 through 12.
Camp Invention
A summer program offered by the National Inventor's Hall of Fame Foundation, Camp Invention is a weeklong summer enrichment day program offered in local communities for children entering first through sixth grades.
Mohican School in the Out of Doors
Mohican School in the Out-of-Doors, Inc., is a private non-profit organization that provides resident and one day field trip experiences in outdoor/environmental education for school-age students. They offer a camp specifically for Gifted Students, grades 4-6, called Waterdrum Science Camp. In this camp, students explore the theme "Sunship Earth" by using science concepts to build an environmental community, create newspapers, canoe, tube, swim, and discover the great outdoors.
Great Summer Science Day Camps
The Great Lakes Science Center is now offering engaging and interactive 1/2 day or full day weeklong camp programs ideal for the young scientists in your family. They include Early Childhood Adventures (K-1), Lego Mindstorms Robotics Camp (2-8), Inventors Workshops (2-5) and Great Lakes, Great Science (6-8). Marietta College Women in the Sciences Camp
WITS is a one week residential summer science camp for girls
between the 5th and 8th grades. It is held on campus at Marietta College. During the camp, girls experience hands-on science in the areas of biology, chemistry, environmental science, geology, and technology.
